I would like to extend a very warm welcome to players, officials and sponsors visiting Leeds Corinthians RUFC website.

It made me very proud when Peter Hallas asked me to be his vice president and then to become president of Leeds Corinthians. When I came here from the Yorkshire Copper Works I was made very welcome and I knew straight away that this was the only club for me.

I would like to congratulate our head coach Roger Daniel for his efforts last season. It is good news for the club that Russ Bradley will be 1st team captain once again this season, as I know that he leads by example and with David Germaine taking over as vice captain I think that the 1st team will have a very good season and will hopefully be challenging for some silverware and promotion to Yorkshire 3.

Andy Cassar will be this year's second team captain with Nigel Foster as vice captain. With all their years of experience and knowledge we should be onto a winner. I would also like to thank Nigel Foster and Ian Welldon for bringing us some of their players through from the junior ranks to play open age rugby for the first time and I wish them all the best.

We begin this season with high hopes of cup and league success. All we want from the players in the 1st and 2nd team is commitment to training and playing.

Last but not least I would also like to give special thanks to the Management Committee, bar and kitchen staff for all of their continued hard work.
